This time, developers have integrated a new feature with Tiger Woods 09. In the middle of your game, there might pop up a random challenge, which you can opt to beat. If you complete the challenge, you have the opportunity to upload new challenges into the Gamernet server so you can earn points.
The online play now allows up to 4 players at once. This type of simultaneous play though does not require you to wait in-between shots by your fellow gamers; instead, you can finish the course in their own pace and time. If you do complete your course before the others, you can update your scoreboard or join the crowd and taunt them, which is great fun.
